I was referred to the endocrinologist by my family doctor, who is amazing.  I've seen the endo only twice, once for the tests and once for the results.  He scheduled me to come in a month after starting me on the dostinex.  I'm concerned because he doesn't seem to care at all about what he's doing and spent less than 5 minutes telling me the diagnosis.  When I mentioned this to my family doctor, he told me not to worry about it because the endo is very good at what he does and is a genius.  My family doc admitted, however, that my endo has no social skills and that's been a concern for many patients.  I'm just wondering if I should overlook the fact that he doesn't seem to take this seriously, or if I should just trust my family doctor.  As for the test results, my insulin like growth factor was low, T-uptake was slightly low, and cholesterol and triglycerides were high as well as my prolactin levels.  Also, I went in to my family doctor's office with stomach pains that I thought were associated to the medications I'm on, but the doctor is convinced I'm having a gallbladder attack.  I have a test tomorrow and will likely have my gallbladder removed this week.  It seems strange that this is all happening at once...could it be related?  Thanks again for all your help!
