Jenny, I, too, have vision problems I believe are due to my pit tumor. I see my opthomalogist and a neuroopthomalogist, too. My field test (peripheral vision) comes out okay but I still get off and on blurry vision in one eye mostly, but now sometimes the other, too. Thank goodness it doesn't happen to both at the same time, yet. The doctors don't know why this is happening. I believe it has to do with the optic nerve that runs right on top of the pituitary. My tumor is growing up (1.1 cm) and must be touching this nerve, I would guess. Anyway, not being a doctor, it makes sense to me that the optic nerve may be affected by my tumor, even just a little bit. Oh well, I hope to have this dam tumor removed soon and then I hope to see a big improvement in my vision. Let us know what you find and how you are doing. Pam |
