Jenny,

Regarding the endo you see, please make sure he is a specialist in pituitary tumors/disease. Most endos are thyroid and diabetes specialists, you need to find one specialized in neuroendocrine medicine.

As for all your medical problems, they are related and caused by the pit tumor and the hormonal imbalance in your body. You will have a hard time finding a doctor who believes that, though. We, as patients, know that all our ailments are connected. I have been diagnosed with over half a dozen hormonal diseases, but not one physician has agreed that the tumor and hormonal imbalance is causing my medical problems. I told them that if it's not the cause, then my body is falling completely apart @ the ripe old age of 24. I am now almost 26 and I have many health problems. I was active and in great shape just three years ago.

I believe gallbladder problems are very common in pit tumor patients. I have had several gallbladder attacks, but my ultrasounds showed nothing. I was diagnosed with IBS. IBS is also common in patients with hormonal problems. Before you decide to have your gallbladder removed, make sure it is not IBS causing your stomach pain.

Incidentally, what was your cortisol level? Have you had any tests to rule out Cushings?
