Keribug: Sorry I can't give you dimensions. I was 17 when diagnosed and never thought to even write a record of it. In hindsight (at 38), I sure wish I would have documented EVERYTHING! My endo did say it was the size of a small orange (it started moving upward in a finger-like projection but never affected my vision (thank goodness). He used to carry the film around and show everyone in the halls (interns) and talk about the huge size, so I guess it was larger than normally seen (at that time). I had to take 3 - 2.5 mg pills of bromocriptine to make it shrink. Sorry I have no more specifics. I did request my medical records (just last year), but there was no mention of the size included and no pictures. I was a tad dissapointed, but as long as it is definitely gone (as my last MRI has clearly shown - as well as an opinion from a neurosurgeon) I am happy ![]() |
