Hello Gogyween1:

Regarding my records....I am thinking some are still missing.  They weren't sure if there would even be any of my initial visits as it was in 1983 and I just requested them now.  I wish I would have been on this a long long time ago, but hey, hindsight is 20/20.

I still have some hormonal problems and I still take 1 bromo pill/day even though I don't have a tumor.  It totally takes away my anxiety, nervousness and depression.  I didn't go back on the bromocriptine right away after my 2nd child, and I really had a tough time with the above symptoms.

I was seeing a new endo (which I wasn't pleased with) and he told me that increasing the bromo wasn't going to do anything for me (at that time I was taking 1/2 pill).  He "humored" me and I started taking 1 pill/day - as it wasn't going to hurt me, and I gradually got better and better and better - and my prolacin fell from 20 (which is considered "normal") to 8 were it is now.  So I guess the lowering of my prolactin seems to have been my fix - knock on wood.

I still have a low libido and will have to look closer into that on my next visit - in July.......hope my husband can wait that long   I still do not have a period without taking progesterone.  So to answer your question...Yes, I still have some symptoms that never got corrected with the tumors disappearance.  I guess the tumor has caused too much damage.

Your question about how long it lasted is a bit fuzzy as well.  I must admit, as a youngster I wasn't to "concerned" for my health and never had many MRI's done until just recently.  I had the attitude "if I feel good, things must be good, so I don't have to go to the doctor".  So I can't say at what point it "disappeared".

I know initially, in one month on 3 pills/day, it shrunk 1/3 of it's size.  I took 3 pills for 15 years until my first child.
