He has diagnosed me with Acromegaly, and I had tests done today to check for any heart damage
What kind of tests were done? My heart was never tested even though my IGF-1 levels were sky high and my tumor 2.5 cm. I don't look extremely Acromegalic (I was short to begin with- mainly my jaw looks more square, my hand/feet are bigger and I grew a couple of inches) but I would think that with my lab levels and tumor size, I should have been tested for heart probs. My levels are normal now but I do wonder if I should ask for some specific tests to be sure.
