Hi Deanie:
I am kind of curious as to why your endo doesn't think
that GH makes anybody feel any better. I've been hypopit for nearly
ten years but wasn't diagnosed until about five years ago. I would
have to say that finally getting replacement GH really had more positive impact
on how I feel that any other hormone or medication I've been prescribed since my
diagnosis. I had been having unbelievable fatigue and that problem
gradually improved a lot. I had also gained over seventy lbs. during the
years that I was sick but unable to get a diagnosis as to what was wrong.
The GH eventually helped me lose over forty lbs. and I'm hoping that I can lose
the rest of the weight as time goes by. Also, my elevated cholesterol
levels came down to normal. I am a firm believer in GH and so is my
endo although there are still people in the medical profession who insist that
it is not helpful. Maybe it isn't helpful for some folks, but it certainly
was for me.
