Stef8483, you can read and print out the paper from its online source for free:

It's the 2002 Journal of Neuropsychiatry report, Apathy and Pituitary Disease:

It Has Nothing to Do With Depression. I still say this study is pure GOLD, and

give Tina thanks for correcting our misperceptions on the subject of
depression.

One other thing: APorpoise said: Also, one of your comments was that you

didn't have chemo; I would think it is rare if ever used on a Pituitary tumor

unless it was cancerous, which happens, but is rare. In my previous paragraph
of

the initial post, I mentioned the Brain Tumor Support Group I'd just met with.
I

was the only "Pitter" there. Probably each person had a different type of

cranial tumor, and most members are living with the effects of chemo, radiation

or surgery. They would happily trade those for my tiny dostinex pill.

Oh, since I first started this topic a month ago, I've had some good news. My

macroprolactinoma has shrunken, from the size of a hen's egg to the size of a

songbird's. Two-thirds of it is gone, in my first four months of treatment!

Willard
