Hi, Southern gal Martha, Check out my post 'Absent' from my own life: true
ABSENT-mindedness. In that thread, Minnie and I look at 'Mindfulness' (perhaps
the opposite of Apathy?) from a nutrition standpoint, with advice on vitamin
and mineral supplements. Our board manager also points out the possibility of
restricted blood flow in causing attention failures. Daryl contributes the
experience of "Sitting on the bed looking at my foot and the sock for 20
minutes without motivation to put it on." He advises us to make "Lists, Lists,
and more Lists!!!... If I don't I can drift off to that foggy place and just be
a bump on the log."
