    My thanks as well.  I can more fully 
understand my husbands attitude toward his tumor.  Kind of an "out of 
sight, out of mind" thing with him.   His lack of concern for the 
emotional and physical well being of his family when his medicine causes mental 
changes is more understandable too.  I have not been able to grasp through 
this process why he doesn't spend hours researching and trying to help 
himself. 
 
 I have noticed that with the hormone replacement that he 
is actually getting more things done.  His motto for the new year is 
"Follow Through", so I consider that a vast improvement.  =)
 
 These boards have been invaluable to me as a 
caretaker.  Thank you all so much for your willingness to share.  
Maybe we should have a separate board on here just for the caretakers and 
spouses.  Someone posted a link to one but it is no longer available.  
I would love to compare and share with others in the same role as I am in as 
caretaker.
