Hi. After discussing tonight with plf/ubuntu people, i wondered why do we still distribute win32 codecs.
from what i have seen, we can read wmv9 without trouble using mplayer, and i guess, gstreamer ffmpeg. Quicktime is said to be implemented too, and real codecs are in another package. So, is there some common codecs that really requires win32 codecs nowadays ?
