If you count that as unpublished, $DEITY help us.  I think, maybe, you
should have tried claiming ignorance, but that's not normally a workable
defence.  If your company trained you on how to send email, I think you
might want to suggest that they include some of the above advice in their
email training before they get a really bad reputation.
