BTW, on plucker-dev we have at least one subscriber that uses Lotus
Notes and he manage to put the reply after the quoted text (and '>'
is used for the quoted text), i.e. it is possible also for Lotus
Notes users.

I forgot to mention it in my previous message, but if you use an
existing message as a template for a new message it won't really
"break" anything for us (that use a threaded mail client), since 
Lotus Notes doesn't include the in-reply-to and/or references 
header.

Still, I wouldn't recommend that you do it, since bad habits are
hard to break and one day Lotus Notes might be fixed... Also, the
"Create new message" option is included for a reason ;-)
