I agree to every word of what you say. But I also say that it implies to those who 
already like to be updated to the edge... if not bleedin'. But propogation of the 
idea is about getting more and more people to participate which means converts. 
People are afraid of change and more bandwith doesn't mean people will see the 
light. In any case the additional bandwidth will be utilised by the truckload of 
hotfixes and security updates that MS OSes require, not to mention that XP reports 
in to microsoft whenever you search your HDD, thereby utilising bandwidth.
