since there is unlimited text and the recipient is not billed by an incoming
message... all you have to do is to get a cellphone or gsm modem (most
recommeneded compare to cellphone which will cause firehazard due to
overheating of too much charging of its battery) connected to your linux
server and parse the incoming message by any available open source program
and send the incoming message thru email :->

On a related note, the Google Summer of Code project I worked on,
Sendpage,[0] recently added SMS sending support.  While it currently
has only an `email2page' utility to processes emails to be sent as
pages, I can't see why a reverse of such a tool (page/SMS to email)
may be not possible...
