Junix: I have to admit some amusement at your statements.
I joined PLUG in 1995. I was using Linux at kernel 1.0.9, Slackware 2.0 I believe (although some of the real old timers like Eric Pareja used it at sub-1.0 versions). The reason why I criticize Linux a lot, and talk about the good side of Microsoft is because I see that the list is leaning too heavily toward the Linux religious. Hence I feel that it is necessary to introduce some balance. This place is becoming a self-congratulation / mutual-admiration society. People don't learn when they just reinforce each others' biases. This does not mean I am anti-Linux, I believe any of the people who know me would find that notion to be laughable. A quick google on my name should turn a few things up.
