Ben, The ADS-1700W scanner shipped with an AC wall wart; the ADS-1800W does not. There's supposed to be an accessory, model LK-1001C, that's an AC power supply and an accessory USB cable with a female type C at one end and a male type A at the other. But, that accessory is not available in the US.
