I couldn't see any clear picture of back side of the scanner. The spec
sheet doesn't mention any other power input other than usb-c either.

Enough! A Brother ADS-1800W is sitting to the left of the keyboard with the
back facing up. Yesterday Wes posted an image of the back at an acute angle
with a green box surrounding the AC power socket. It does exist: embossed
above the socket is the string `DC in 5V' above an image showing that the
positive pole is in the center and the negative pole is the shell.
The AC adapter kit (LK-1001C) is apparently now available only in Canada:
<https://www.brother.ca/en/p/LK1001C>. It's shown as an accessory to the
ADS-1800W but can be used with multiple hardware.
