must be reason why it didn't work when I tried a 6150 on Kannel, using the 
phone as a virtual SMS center. Kannel said it supports GSM modems. so does 
the phones you mentioned above can be used as a GSM modem?

Kannel explicitly mentioned to support Nokia premicell, what does a 
premicell have that's not on the phones above, and also with a 6150?
