This is what i meant before when i said that we in plug are really good
technically in linux but suck(tm) in organizing and preparation.  This is
not necessarily a Bad Thing(r), but really we must leave this up to the
people who do this for a living.

Since the topic of installfests are being discussed, and a lot of people
are interested in participating, might i call on the major players on the
list with resources, and people/contacts in the media.  Allow me to name
names?  Q-Linux, APC, Bluepoint, Meralco Foundation.. the biggest names in
Linux training locally.  Can your people organize a major installfest? (it
could be multi-venue'd or single venue'd).

You can count on plug people to be there in force if ever this thing gets
some momentum.  Let's show those still considering commercial software
just how strong and supportive the local linux community can be..
