Kenneth,

Can I get tips on migrating? :)

Tips on migrating...yes there is a program written in C (mbox2dbmail.c)to migrate mbox/maildir format mailstores to the dbmail database. it should be located in the source dir.

Can it be easily reversed if something goes wrong? Can I run it on a different server? (outside the existing mail server)

from dbmail to maildir/mailbox? None that i've known of, i'll try to look for answers, i'll keep you updated as soon as I find how. But if youre using squirrelMail, there is a download from a pop server option...since dbmail has a pop daemon as well...you can "pull" the new mails from a dbmail account back into your regular mbox. right?

You should test it on a different server, remember that it uses its own pop and imap daemons, you cant use server wherein your old mbox resides.

Btw, I'm currently reading the INSTALL file.

Again, a lot of thanks.

No problem.
