Yes, you should not migrate from one system to another just because the guy next door said its a "better" system.
I dont think that he will migrate the *entire* email system to dbmail, I think he will just try it with some accounts which I dont think will hurt much.



Note that MS Exchange uses an SQL DB for its mail storage, and we all know what a *pain* it is to maintain Exchange, right?

Yes, exactly, if the database server dies, the whole email system goes with it. But Im sure you can't say that to all database dependent systems.


Postfix will *always* recommend to use the standard MBOX and Maildir store ;-).
