As an experiment I've just tried playing one of the files with Volumio on a Pi2. While Volumio doesn't have a bookmark plugin, it does report the correct track length: a total of 1365:17 min/sec. I don't know what if anything that proves, but it could point to the problem being with Squeezebox rather than the file.
