Pippin: Yes, that's what's strange - I see it most with iPeng. I don't see it with other streaming apps. But to be honest, I use iPeng almost exclusively so rarely use other apps other than to troubleshoot this noise. I stream MP3 at 320 to my iPhone. What is strange is that this noise is a recent phenomena... I've been using the headphone amp for 7 months but only recently started to notice this noise.
GaryM: You're right! I had no idea I could turn wifi back on in airplane mode. While listening to music via iPeng, I hit Airplane Mode. The iPhone turns off everything and eventually, iPeng stops playing. I then go in and turn wifi back on, then restart iPeng. I didn't realize that was possible. I'll pay close attention to see if the interference noise is more related to wifi or AT&T. I'll post more when I get a chance to further troubleshoot. I want to re-install the Logitech Squeezebox app again to see if the noise shows up with that app as well. Hard to imagine how it could be just an iPeng issue.
