This is a very strange problem... when listening to music via iPeng on my iPhone and my portable amp (PA2V2) (iPhone headphone jack to amp), I'm getting a periodic cyclical electronic noise and clicking. The clicking lasts maybe 10-20 seconds max. Then everything plays fine for awhile, then it starts again. Here's what I can say with certainty...
-- the clicking/noise will continue even when I stop the music -- it only happens with iPeng (does not happen with other iPhone apps playing music) -- it only happens via the headphone amp (headphones directly into the iPhone sound fine) -- it only started happening fairly recently. For awhile I was convinced it was a problem with the headphone amp until I realized it only happened when listening via iPeng. Prior to that it has worked fine for the last 6 months. -- tried different iphones - same problem -- tried different headphones - same problem -- tried different cables -- same problem I am running LMS 7.8. I did recently update to iOS 6.1.2 (could that be it?) I'm extremely reluctant to fault iPeng (I love this app!), but I'm stumped. I also love this little headphone amp and find it so strange that I hear the noise from it but not with headphones plugged directly into the iPhone.
