OK, Doh! The Logitech Squeezebox app can't do playback on the iPhone without iPeng running so no way to check that independent of iPeng. I will say that if I turn on airplane mode and then turn on wifi, I can play music via iPeng without hearing the noise (or at least not with just 10+ minutes of testing). So I pulled out an old iPhone 3G that has an older version of iOS & iPeng on it. Playback still works fine (albeit, the iPeng UI is not as nice as the latest version and that old iPhone is painfully slow). But, I can detect no interference noise or clicking as I occasionally hear via my iPhone 5. Given that what appears to be some form of RFI/EMI interference noise during playback is a recent occurrence, I'm wondering if it's related to the latest iOS update. While running in airplane mode seems to solve it, that kinda undermines the whole point of having a phone. Then again, I'd rather be listening to music than talking to anyone anyway so maybe there's a message here ;-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mdconnelly's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10312 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
