I was about to edit my previous post to tell you you were right ( I do not know what I am doing, as you might have noticed ;) I just realized as you said, that I need a configured ffserver, and that is not even available on windows!! so it is even more heavy weight than what you have proposed! I think what you suggest is the right thing to do. The reason I did not try it is that I have VLC 2.0 and it opens a bunch of windows even when you use it from the command line. You mention a VLC older version IIRC? if you have a link where I can get that ( unless I misunderstood) that would be great, then I will try that or I will try to lookup an older version of VLC that does not have all the GUI stuff. Which version you recommend if any... and hopefully that will close this post! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mitrih's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7800 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90070 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
