I did more testing with 1rc2, seems like all is working fine with Xplay.Thanks for the explanation! I do not use Alien (or Playreal) as I have no more streams that use them, also do not use PlayWma as I am on a PC ( used to use it on my Mac before I sold it ;). Xplay does the trick for these odd stations that went to the new rtsp mode ( quicktime and wowsa server). I use Wavein in conjunction with a PC program Shairport4W.exe to play from Iphone into SB, I was wondering ( while I have your ear ;) if you have done something to integrate those two together. Shairport 4W can do redirection to lame.exe -b 192 -h -r - Sp4w_out.mp3 ( I have no idea what that means, but I will ask a silly question) can that be piped into Xplay as a stream ( or Wavein). This will save some PC setup everytime I boot I have to go to audio option and redirect output of speakers to Wavein for this to work, I also have to run manually the shairportW application. Or is there as far as you know a clean plugin to do this...
