Other AAC streams were fine on all players, including the Radio (the Radio Paradise stream I use is AAC - http://stream-uk1.radioparadise.com/aac-128 ). All is now OK on all devices and I plan to leave well alone - the point I was trying to make is that DASH really did seem to be more sensitive than other streams for some reason. I'm not sure I really understand what was breaking the Unifi / Radio combination only with DASH (some strange MTU mismatch? but should be handled elsewhere in the stack...), but everything's now working fine.
Thanks loads for all of your work on iPlayer and DASH - I'm just praying that the BBC don't try seriously to lock out Squeezeboxes and other Open Source solutions in future, although the storm of criticism which hit them from SB users when they first introduced HLS & DASH may make that a little less likely?
