I remember that correspondence in 2015, but could not pin down any
problems with DNS at the time. I am with EE Fibre Broadband (BT
Openreach provided) and use their DNS server with Google's as a
fall-back. Changing DNS servers on the router does not seem to make any
difference. As I said, all other streaming works fine including Spotify
via LMS as well as all the other non-LMS things like video iPlayer
streaming and Sky NowTV film streaming and so on. I will try iPlayer in
a browser with DASH when I get home and report back.

The log is showing lots of these sorts of errors:

...as well as lot like this mysterious type of message. It seems to be
scanning folders that have nothing to do with LMS. I will check my scan
folder settings:

Let me know if you want the full log.

LMS is running on a Synology DS214:

Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1453293926)
Operating system: Synology DiskStation (DSM Package Management) - EN -
utf8
Platform Architecture: unknown
Perl Version: 5.18.4 - armle-linux
Audio::Scan: 0.95
Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1)

This is wired direct to my TPLink Broadband router and Draytek VDSL
modem. Players are two Duet Receivers (on WiFi connections) and a
Raspberry Pi (wired to router) running PiCorePlayer.
I listen most to DASH / HLS beta iPlayer Radio through the Receiver in
my kitchen, so notice the most problems there. Details are:

Player Model: Squeezebox Receiver
Player Type: receiver
Firmware: 77
Player IP Address: 192.168.1.xx
Player MAC Address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
Wireless Signal Strength: 89%

(my "xx" to replace real numbers)

One thing I have noticed, my external IP address seems to change at
least daily. Before I went to fibre it barely ever changed.

Am at work at the moment but will look into this more when I get home.
