Coffee... she smelled coffee.

Julia started to open her eyes, one at a time, and look around the room, slowly piecing together what had happened.

It was morning time.  She had weakened herself more than she had ever thought possible..... and she remembered bits and pieces of what had happened yesterday, knowing that Derek and Rachel had been in here at one time or another to watch over her.

Just then the air shimmered next to her and Patrick appeared, his expression one of gentle concern as he regarded her.

"I'm fine." she said, pushing back the covers and bringing her legs over the side and down to the floor as she stood "How're the others?"

"Miranda was the one that helped Kat." Patrick informed her, his expression turning to one of fatherly protectiveness "I don't know what it is about that girl...."

Julia nodded and started toward the bedroom door, bare feet padding across the carpet.  She looked down and realized someone must have loaned her some pajamas and helped her into them or she had gotten into them herself.

At least her fever was broken.

She ran her fingers through her sleep mussed hair and headed toward the stairs and toward the kitchen "I'll do a check on her soon as I get caffeine in me."

Patrick chuckled "Been in heaven all this time and you still crave coffee."

Julia pffft'd at him and put her hand to the doorway "The habit stuck with me all those times I got to help people.  God did good when he made that stuff."

Then she entered the kitchen, seeing Derek already helping himself to the new pot of coffee and looking like he had had very little sleep the night before.  She felt bad because she knew she had been the reason and regarded him for a moment as she chewed the corner of her bottom lip "Hi."
