"No thank you," Derek said in reply to Julia's offer. The things she
ate...and at this hour? All he could do was shake his head. As she left the
room barking orders he groaned slightly and ran his fingers through his
hair. He wondered just how many of the gray hairs she had been responsible
for putting there. Definitely more than her fair share. Sighing he poured
the coffee into the carafe and got a mug for himself and then followed her
up the stairs. He should at least keep an eye on her. He entered the room
a few moments after she did. "Ah Lani," he said, "at least one of the MIA's
has turned up." Derek poured himself a cup of coffee and put the carafe
down on the table.

Well, Julia thought as she sat down at one of the computer consoles and put
her food and coffee down on either side for easy reach before letting her
fingers fly over the keyboard as she started an internal scan and started
the trace, if Derek knew her that meant she was okay for now.

It didn't take long to realize no damage done and to back up the system as
well as leave a couple of 'surprises' if the hackers decided to pay a little
visit again, but it did take some time to go through a few lines to realize
that the people that had done the job were very adept at their skill.

Had it not been for the fact Julia knew from 'other' sources who they had
been, whoever else that tried to trace the lines left would have ended up at
.........

Oh she couldn't say it, she just couldn't. But that didn't stop her from
almost choking on her coffee and laughing when she saw what site they had
lead the trace to.

She decided to humble the two a little and tapped into their system to leave
a little message of her own, still chuckling.
