Derek looked up at the sound of Julia's voice. "Good morning," he said
giving her an appraising look. She looked better, though she was still
pale. "How are you feeling?" He wondered if she would give him an honest
answer or not. It would be like her to says she was fine when she wasn't,
it was things like that that got her into messes like the one she was in
last night.

Julia gave a sheepish half grin and came further into the kitchen, opting to
sit in the window embrasure seat next to his chair, it being part of the
breakfast table's setup.
"Like someone might throw me over his shoulder if I pulled a stunt like that
again?" she tried to tease him as she sniffed the air "But craving some of
that stuff and wondering how long it's going to take me before raiding the
fridge for breakfast. And," she added, knowing he wanted to know the more
clinical aspects of how she was feeling "Fever's broken for the most part.
Figure I'll feel better with some food and drink before going to the control
room to check out the computer system and to check on a couple of things."
