"I'm glad to hear it," Derek replied with a small smile. "Allow that
feeling to guide your actions, for a while at least."

He slid his yet untouched mug of coffee over to her, while touching her
forehead lightly with his other hand. She still felt a little warm, but
perhaps she was right. He wasn't sure working was the best idea.

"Things?" He really could use her help with the computers, but he didn't
want her to make herself ill again.

She took a grateful gulp of the coffee and stayed still long enough for him
to feel her forehead before, taking the coffee with her, she scooted over
and then off of the embrasure to go scout out the fridge, finding odds and
ends to make a sandwich and sticking it all on a plate and motioning for him
to follow "Yup. Patrick tells me that it was Miranda that took Kat over..
wanted to do a check on her. And I was going to check out the system to
make sure the hackers didn't do any damage and to reinforce the security
access."

"Come on, come on, come on," she half teased him as she started toward the
kitchen door "If you hurry I might share the spoils of the raid I just got
but there's work to be had."

She was out the door and headed toward the staircase as she called back "And
grab the carafe and a mug. I'm not sharing the mug!"

"You are going to drive the man crazy." Patrick chuckled from beside her,
having caught a glimpse of Derek's expression before the door had swung
closed on Julia.

She made it to the holo-wall and frowned a little as she looked over the
side of the railing to see if Derek was catching up and then at Patrick
"Doubtful. He's had years of me like this.. it's probably old hat to him by
now."

Julia blinked just then and turned back to the wall as the security
clearance processed and allowed her entry, seeing someone already inside and
entering "Uh, hello......"
