Derek leaned forward slightly in the chair, resting his arms on his knees.
"I'm sorry Megan.  I don't wish to hurt you.  I had no idea you still had
feelings for me.  It's been a long time."  He paused for a moment.  "It's
time to move on.  I'm sure you'll find the right person for you."

Megan looked at him for a long moment then asked "Is that what it was? It's
been a while so move on to the next woman?"

"How do you know she's not just a rebound situation?"
