Barbara patted her son's hand and smiled "Indeed I have.  Most entertaining
too.  I must say, I'm do not understand Sloan's attitude toward the way
she's been handling things.  Where is he anyway?"

Julia lowered her gaze and ran her thumb over the juice bottle as she
answered, her smile of seconds ago faltering "In the sitting room with
Kristen."

Then she looked at Philip and motioned with her head toward the refrigerator
as she pushed her chair back and stood "Why not come and help me raid this
thing.  I doubt you've eaten in a while."

Jonathan started to get up "I can do that..."

"I got it." She replied, opening the refrigerator doors and looking at the
contents inside and holding back the urge to grind her teeth.

"He is contrary by nature," Derek told her.  "That's what's wrong with him.
He wouldn't be happy if Moses were here helping to run things.  I suppose I
should go speak with him."  He didn't want to though.  "Was he in the same
mood on the entire trip?"
