"I wish you'd figured it out sooner," Derek told him before giving Julia a
slightly sheepish grin.  "You were right," he told her shaking his head
slightly.

Julia couldn't help it and teased him "Get used to saying that, Mister.  I
like the sound of it."

She then looked at him thoughtfully, wishing they hadn't been interrupted as
his answer had been cut off.  But she looked at both of them and sat back.
