"Not if they know what's good for them," Derek told her with a faint smile
"I write their paycheck after all...that commands a certain level of
respect."

Julia chuckled and chewed the bite of roasted chicken she had just put into
her mouth.

"Yes, well," she admitted humorously after swallowing "I'll probably
resemble a basketball anyway."

She smiled.  She was actually looking forward to it too.

"You will never look like that," Derek told her.  "If you do n't believe me,
we can stop by the market on the way home and I'll show you what one looks
like."  He made a slight face, before taking a bite of his asparigus in
hollindais sauce.
