Fools are advised to stay away from it altogether. :-) The ability to launch a process and capture its output certainly would make PowerPro about ten times as powerful and less awkward. What you want may be perfectly doable with batch files. I used to do a lot of stuff with them. I was never too happy with that method because I had to pass data to and fro between PowerPro and several batch files all the time. Maintaining it later was a real drag because the whole machine got all scattered about. But still doable. And don't forget 2ppvar.
