Although this doesn't fix the problem...if you include an oh-shit routine
that does an event destroy after 20 seconds, if it's still waiting then
you'll either know the program didn't launch, or the program launched and
closed too fast for ppro to see. Error at that point.

Not great....but a workaround for the moment, till Bruce can work his magic
