Quite the thing I found myself trying to do all the time when I programmed with PowerPro. PowerPro is *not* the tool for that kind of thing. PowerPro will do an awful lot, but not everything. No application will. You had better just launch your script in whatever command-line-aware program or language you want and send its output to the 2ppvar program, which will in turn send data to PowerPro by means of some variable. Peters made a poor attempt to pipe a panoply of scripts or programs into PowerPro's plumbing.
