Thanks for the tip; I looked around a bit, but besides general info,
there wasn't too much I think I can apply (the 5300 and 1400 are very
different beasts), though there is some.

To everyone:
(I'm confused about which is the 1st pin...) The oscillator looks a
little like this from the top down:

| (| {Yes, the part has both the "o" and "(" marks}

I'll call the pin closest to the "o" pin-1, clockwise from there to 4.
1 = OE
2 = Grnd
3 = Output
4 = Vdd
??
If that's true, then 4 is connected to R130 (can't read the label on
the resistor,but it's blue), the directly to pin 30 (counting from the
bottom left of the writing on the 603e) of the CPU, FWIW. I can't
quite tell where pin 3 goes...
Anyhow, a lot of the resistors I mentioned before share pads, FWIW.
It's just a hunch, but I don't really see any other cluster of
resistors...
Wish someone could post pics of the mobo - I don't have a digital
camera :-(
