There is always one .... I can't comment on pricing being in UK, nor on the 2400 which I've never seen, they are very in rare in UK, I'd like to have one. The 1400 is a superb, robust machine, knocks the spots off any 5300 or 190 - why go for a 190 - pre power PC ? The build quality, screen, keyboard, ability to have a CD, etc. etc. make 1400 a far better machine. Given there is minimal price difference, the 1400 wins for me. The 3400 is nice but I was never a huge fan - similar in form to the 5300/190. Faster than the 1400s and had CD and floppy as well as built in modem and Ethernet cards. They are probably a better buy now with their higher RAM limits for example. Finding Ram for any of those machines isn't always easy, so get as much as you can included. -- Best wishes Malcolm Cornelius - The Powerbook Fanatic http://www.pbfanatic.co.uk -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
