The 1400cs screen is satisfactory but after using the 1400c you notice a difference. I don't know the 520, but my 180c has a tiny keyboard which I don't care for. And as everyone said, the 1400 keyboard is as good as it gets on old Powerbooks. I would suggest the 1400c, but if the funds are limited get the 1400cs. The 2400 is hard to find and sells for as much a a G3 PB so why bother..... even if you can find one. Unless you want to collect PB's the 2400 sells outrageously high and is not worth the cost compared to other models with more features.
