These are the only database files I have in my Powermail folder: Address Database Today, 2:53 AM 480KB Address Database.old Jun 1, 2006, 5:49 PM 480KB Message Database Today, 2:50 AM 92.9MB Message Database.old Jun 1, 2006, 5:50 PM 89.5MB Message Database index Mar 26, 2006, 12:11 PM -- Message Database Spotlight cache Today, 2:46 AM -- Setup Database Today, 2:50 AM 224KB Setup Database.old Jun 1, 2006, 5:49 PM 224KB Server-side Database Today, 2:46 AM 64KB Server-side Database.old Jun 1, 2006, 5:49 PM 64KB No files numbered 2, 3, 4. I started to think they might be left over from low level rebuild attempts, but the dates on them don't indicate one being left over from the error earlier today. It's after 3am here. I'm up in a middle-of-the-night wandering around session but nowhere near coherent enough to try a low level rebuild. When I have time tomorrow and can think straight enough to make connections, I'll back up my mail folder and try a low level rebuild and see if anything happens. Maybe if I duplicate it we'll find out the pattern and reason for it. If nothing happens, then we won't be much further along, sad to say.
