I completely agree, which is why I've been trying to get this in since v3 :) My DB is approaching 2GB and I have folders with over 5000 emails in them that I have to use the search feature on (thankfully now very fast!) because I can't see whom I sent the emails to.
Yes, I could add the "To" field, but then I would have to shrink the subject field (window already takes up the entire screen) and that would mean only seeing 50% or so of the subject text. Since these are folders I have both outgoing and incoming email in it isn't an option to hide the "from" field. Besides, I already know I sent those emails. A new option, "From/To:" in the view options dialog (which would, of course, dim "From" and "To" options when checked) would be so helpful. And, of course, it would display "From/To" in the column heading :) This is still my #1 wishlist item, right behind #0 (that being adding an option to turn off double-clicking of URL's to launch them... this one is critical to me). on Wed, May 5, 2004 Philippe Braun may have said: >I asked the PowerMail devs in January 2000 if this Eudora feature might >make its way into Powermail... obviously it didn't. >Since I organize my mails into client or project folders, and thus have >all incoming and outgoing mails relevant to them in one folder, this >feature would make a big difference to me. >Showing both the "to" and "from" colums is not really an option.
