I've been presented with an opportunity to upgrade my Nikon Coolpix
5000 to a 5700, but now I'm wondering whether any other camera might be
preferable. I'm considering the D100 but then I would lose the 'handy
pocket-size' carry-everywhere benefit, but gain the ability to manual
focus and change lenses.
But the D100 is still just 6 million pixels, compared to the 5700's 5
million, meaning I still couldn't get the 100mb files my stock library
requires from it. And the D100 + lens is much more expensive.
I only really know Nikon cameras in this range, and I do like them. But
does anyone know of a better digital camera for under/around 2000. Is
it possible to get 10 million pixels at this price?
I'm off to buy 'Which Digital Camera' but in the meantime, any advice
from the sages of this list would be much appreciated ;-)
Thanks, Red
