Just a quickie, Had a G4 400 playing up for a few days, then would give an out of memory warning when closing camera software.
Swapped it out, but took 1 128 chip out leaving a 128 and a 64, when rebooted, I got a grey screen and a boot failure warning and even typing mac-boot wouldnt work. answer took out the kingston 128 and bingo its fine.
