Excellent question. I don't remember what the S2 manual says, but the S1 manual said to always use ORG for everything if you are planning to use Photoshop later. That's what I usually do. One thing I've noticed is that if you set the color on ORG, then you'll probably want to use AdobeRGB98 color space, but if you use the STD or HI setting, you'll probably want to use sRGB. I almost always use ORG, but sometimes I'll use the higher settings if I'm in a dull situation that I want to liven up... such as shooting in a factory under Flourescent or Mercury Vapor lighting... even with the color balance fixed, these situations always seem rather lacking in color to me. It might be just as well to increase saturation in Photoshop later. I have never used the Tone (which I think means Contrast) on anything but ORG.
