Thanks, Rick, for your answers. I've been working my way through the menus
and I think I have it sussed now so that I can shoot tethered. Also, I think
Fuji may be playing it safe by saying you should use a power adaptor and not
the onboard batteries in case you leave it on all day and then give them a
bad name for over consumption.

I have noticed one small thing about auto focus. If I focus on an object
while zoomed in, I get a sharp image. However, if I zoom out, say from 85 to
24 and then auto focus on the same spot and then zoom in to the frame I had
before, the object is always out of focus and the focus point is usually
about 18" in front. I know it's focusing on a larger area but I tried it
with a sharp edged object (actually an Xmass card) so that there was a
clean, sharp line for it to focus on but still the focus point is in front.

Any comments?
